Firefly Light Bikes

Firefly Light Bikes

Vreeeez!, is the sound that screams down the street like a mixture between the wailing of an unknown Spirit Dweller found in the deep caves of Mountains, and a cold Winter Wind upon Icy Steel.  This street bike is nimble, and quick!  The wheels and lining of the frame also light up at night in a neon hue—all of which has become the new trend in motorcycles of this model lately.

The feel of the road is immense, and the emotions of freedom flowing through the veins as if you’re an electric hawk soaring over land and at one with the wind are deep and convincing.  Enough to convince the rider of this bike that it was made to hug the road like a new found lover.  Stylish, with an electronic gyroscope system to match, this street bike, is a racing bike, customized from research for urban and highway terrain.

The highway exit approaches and the lanes begin to curve somewhat sharply onto the main street with its matrix of street lights, stop lights, signs and intersections.  The rider gracefully swerves into the middle lane and continues to cruise at a smooth pace.  And soon, finds himself surrounded by a densely packed area of the city filled with all types of People, Cars, and Cyberpunks just looking for something to do.

The stop light shines ruby red, and for a short passage of time everything in the vicinity is pulsing with the vibration of life merged with electrically enhanced technology.  The engine of the Firefly Light Bike flairs with activity anticipating the coming green light, signaling everyone to go forwardIt is now the end of Evening and the beginning of the Night.

The Neon pattern of the Firefly Light Bike glows with its eerie blue-green hue.  Even the central rims of the bike’s wheels glow in the same way, giving it a very sleek look and feel.   The rider quickly approaches a group of townhouses and slithers his bike into the accompanying parking lot.  Finally, the ride is over…yet it lasted quicker than to be expected on a night like this.  The rider parks the bike and takes off his helmet.

Now in the comfort of his home, the rider is no longer an electric hawk soaring through the lanes of the cityscape.  The rider has a face, a body, and a soul.  It is the soul of a Human Being with a real need for the rush found in riding Street Bikes.

Thirty minutes or so later, there is a ring at his door.  He opens the door seeing a young delivery driver holding a bag of hot Italian food.

“That will be $15.80, sir.”  The young delivery driver says.

“Thanks.”  Is the reply, as money is given and the appropriate change is exchanged.

As the hot carry out meal is opened on the table, our rider lowers his head gently and makes a prayer to the God he believes in.

Creator,
Thank you for this meal
And all that you do in my life!
Thank you always for being on the road with me
So, that I make it home safely!

As his meal is being eaten, he receives an incoming message on his Android.

VIDEO TEXT MESSAGE FROM:  Luz Hernandez

“Hey, I thought I’d see how you’re doing, and if you want to swing by my apartment tonight!  I’ll be up late.  Maybe we can watch a movie here or something?  O.k., I’ll talk to you.  Bye!”

The meal is eventually finished, to as much as his stomach can hold, and the rest sits in the refrigerator for some future date…surely tomorrow.  Shortly thereafter, a few minutes of light conversation with Luz takes place.   He puts on his jacket, and grabs his helmet locking the door behind him.

With a turn from the key now in the ignition, his Street Bike lights up and he then peels out of the parking lot riding off into the city streets before him.  Taking in all of the scenery, now in a blur, from the swift motion of his Firefly Light Bike!
